Professional Fighters and Domestic Abuse

I’m trying to get an idea what public opinion is on professional fighters involved in domestic abuse cases. Heavyweights Deontay Wilder and Dereck Chisora have both been involved in domestic abuse cases, as has Welterweight Floyd Mayweather, Jr. Taking into account their fight training, should this factor in when deciding a sentence?

Lynette, you mean boxing and domestic abuse are two different things? I’m just trying to research if there are any common elements in a boxer’s training history that could make them susceptible to being violent outside of the ring, and whether professional fighters should measured by a higher standard as an aggressor, because 1) They have trained to be more deadly with their fists, and 2) Their training is supposed to involve self control and discipline.

If I’m missing something crucial, please let me know!
