Science News for Writers blog

Science News for Writers

I recently had the opportunity to write a guest post for the Science News for Writers blog concerning aggressive sports and domestic violence. I would highly recommend the SNfW blog as a resource for any writers interested in understanding more about certain scientific concepts for use in their work. The blog is maintained by Jim Fisher, a professional writer since 1983, with a wealth of writing experience. Jim has worked as a copywriter, a copy chief and creative director, a magazine writer, a columnist and editor, plus as a stringer for Life magazine. Jim also has experience as a travel writer. Now Jim is semi-retired and focused on science-based blogs plus writing fiction and screenplays. To see Jim’s profile, click here.

Here are two of my favorite blog posts that appeared on Science News for Writers recently:

Naming Jack the Ripper: Identified by DNA after 126 years

Crime: Our broken, unfair prison system. Is there a better way?
